Our factory seconds stock is typically DOA or ‘scratch and dent’ stock. It has been thoroughly checked, inspected, and tested by our in-house team of qualified technicians. This will ensure that the product is fully functioning as per the specs in our listing and meets all of our high-quality standards. All refurbished stock will likely carry some cosmetic blemishes or signs of wear which will vary from product to product. After testing, all products are cleaned and re-packaged. Most refurbished stock some will come in the original packaging, however some will come wrapped in plastic bubble wrap to ensure the product is protected in transit. All products are still backed by the full manufacturer warranty, meaning that any product fault or defect within the warranty period will be covered by a service call and/or replacement parts to ensure the product works as described in this listing.

Installation Dimensions

Product & Cut Out Dimensions

Do not cut your cabinetry or benchtops until you have physically received your Smart BBQ to ensure optimum results. The cut out dimensions provided on this sheet are indicative only as requirements for each install will vary. Upon receiving your Smart BBQ, individually measure the relevant sections to ensure optimum fittings.

Ensure minimum 180mm rear clearance behind the BBQ to any wall to allow for the BBQ hood to open. Any installation must allow a minimum 30mm clearance below the BBQ to allow for ventilation and to stop build-up of heat which can damage your cabinetry and BBQ.

Gas Conversion

Natural Gas Conversion

The Smart Gas BBQ range all come ready for use with an LPG gas bottle out of the box, but can be converted to supply through your natural gas line.

This will require a natural gas conversion kit which can be purchased from retailers or directly from our website.

Our jets are universal in that you use the same jets in LPG and NG setting. What is needed is an internal adjustment to change the gas flow to use the same jets. This will need to be done by a licensed gas fitter or plumber. On how this is done, is shown in the user manual step by step.

Your gas fitter or plumber will remove the jets that are currently set up for LPG and do an internal adjustment to the gas flow when you want to run NG to your BBQ.

Please note that our kits do not come with with a female bayonet fitting for wall connection - this will need to be supplied by your gas fitter or plumber.
